I watched MSNBC last night, Oh my God!

Ed Shultz and Rachel Maddow all they do for their entire show is bash republicans and still even after three years Blame George W Bush.

My God they are so far up the Barrack Hussein Obama's Arse that a tow truck couldn't pull them away.

They are indeed Nazi's, They wish to imprison a majority of Americans.

They intend to abolish the job creators, They want to see our country bankrupted. All they did last night is put down Newt , because he suggested that young people should have an opportunity to work and learn some work ethic, So they could possibly be successful when they get out of school.

But the left is against any child growing up and becoming successful. This is why they do not teach students about our founding fathers in public schools , Rather they indoctrinate them into gay is ok and socialism works. Scumbags like these MSNBC commentators are Progressives, Progressives seek to destroy our Capitalistic system, and install a Communistic system. And By not truly educating children they think that they can Fundamentally change the country, You heard this from the Obama.

When I was a small boy, we would get up early in the morning and have breakfast and do chores, Then it was off to school.

On Sundays it was get up a little earlier and the same , But then it was off to Church.

My parents were loving towards one another and both parents remained faithful for absolute years of their lives.

America had values then, Good American values, Moral values, Hard work values, Religious values, School teachers weren't union driven socialists.

As a child I would see my School Teachers at Church on Sunday and in the class room on Monday.

My parents owned American vehicles and we raised most of our own food, My school teachers weren't indoctrinated me with a bunch of left wing union driven socialistic idea's, Back then teachers were paid to teach period. Our public schools are in ruin these days , our children aren't getting a education from their parents tax dollars any longer. School teachers today only preach an agenda , an agenda forced upon them by a Radical George Soros backed Tides Foundation, Children are being indoctrinated into the agenda of "making gay Ok" and anti Capitalism is better.

No More Ten Commandments, No More Pledge of Allegiance, Our true American value system is out the door, and Socialism is in.

Students who's parents pay taxes , which pay the teachers and pay those schools, Can't wear Red , White, and Blue clothing to school.

Because now a days it may offend someone. What are you kidding me? When I was a boy I wore USA Flag shirts and no one was offended, So why now?

How can this offend anyone? Anyone who is a real and true citizen of this country!

I am indeed very attached to this USA Flag and what it represents, I am proud of what this has accomplished, and what the Red , White, and Blue stands for.

The Technology doesn't work exactly as planned

Instead of focusing on the smart grid technology, APS focuses on smart grid benefits for its Arizona customers. Really? Since having this new technology installed at my Phoenix Arizona home, I haven't found this to be so true. After adding solar panels, a wind turbine, a small battery bank, and 600 watts of Grid tie inverters, and a "Green Box" 1200 Energy Saver, and My light bill still increased, even as I have cut back on my energy use. They APS, Arizona Public Service eliminated their meter readers and saved money, But we Arizona residents now pay more for our power, Isn't it wonderful how that all worked its way out.
APS said "We're trying to allow the new technology that's coming-because it's rapidly coming at us-to help us define what the future could be. We're not trying to impose a specific vision of smart grid on the future. Smart grid will continue to change and evolve."
Some consumers argue that the meters are logging far more kilowatt hours than they believe they are using. And many find it unfair that they will begin to pay immediately for the new meters through higher rates, when the promised savings could be years away.
Power companies say the meters will allow utilities to vary the price charged to their customers by the hour to correspond to what those utilities are paying for energy in the wholesale market. This can help consumers save money, they say.
They also say the meters will be crucial to remaking the electric system to handle intermittent power sources like wind turbines and solar cells while continuously meeting customers’ needs.

Elizabeth Keogh, a retired social worker in Bakersfield, Calif., who describes herself as “a bit chintzy,” has created a spreadsheet with 26 years of electric bills for her modest house. She decided that her new meter was running too fast.

Ms. Keogh reported to the utility that the meter recorded 646 kilowatt-hours in July, for which she paid $66.50; last year it was 474 kilowatt-hours, or $43.37.
At a hearing in October organized by her state senator, Ms. Keogh took out two rolls of toilet paper — one new, one half used up — and rolled them down the aisle, showing how one turned faster than the other. “Something is wrong here,” she said.
Scores of electric customers with similar complaints have turned out at similar hearings. At one in Fresno, Calif., Leo Margosian, a retired investigator, testified that the new meter logged the consumption of his two-bedroom townhouse at 791 kilowatt-hours in July, up from 236 a year earlier. And he had recently insulated his attic and installed new windows, Mr. Margosian said.

The market for residential energy management will increase significantly over the next four years due to increased consumer demand and new government and industry initiatives, according to Parks Associates.

The number of US households with a smart meter will grow to over six million by 2012, from the one million smart meters deployed in the US today, it reports in a study, entitled Residential Energy Management: Opportunities for Digital Systems and Services.
"Utilities see the benefit of upgrading the grid, and consumers are growing more conscious of their energy consumption. Add in incentives from the government, and you have three strong drivers that will boost deployment and innovation in this market," said Bill Ablondi, director of home systems research at Parks Associates.
"The Obama administration has made the development of energy-efficient technologies and alternative fuels a priority," he said. "There will be opportunities for manufacturers in smart appliances, utilities investing in Smart Grid technologies, and start-ups developing innovative energy solutions."

Houston-based energy and utility consultancy The Structure Group administered the study, which included tests in laboratories and in the field, according to Greentech Grid. The group also reviewed 1,378 complaints about the meters and conducted in-depth interviews with customers.

The $1.4 million audit, for which PG&E is reimbursing the agency, determined that the utility could have done a better job communicating with and notifying customers about smart meter installation.
“In some cases, customers experienced multiple cancelled bills followed by re-billing, which exacerbated customer confusion and frustration. In addition, customers indicated to Structure that there was a lack of communication and notification from PG&E about their smart meter installation,” the CPUC said of Structure’s findings. The report also said that the CPUC’s handling of certain consumer complaints created confusion for the customer when the CPUC deemed the complaint closed even though the customer was still not satisfied with or did not understand PG&E’s resolution of their complaint,” Greentech Grid reports.
Several municipalities in Northern California have already asked regulators to prevent the meters from being installed until accuracy issues are sorted out.
The meters, which transmit energy use data to the utilities, have also sparked health worries about radiation levels. The utilities commission has received around 2,000 such complaints, mostly from Northern California.
For several days last week, residents of Santa Cruz County protested what they called “forced installation” of smart meters on private property, with some expressing worries that the radiation could lead to brain cancer. Watsonville and Fairfax passed laws banning the meters within city limits.

PG&E Replacing 1,600 Broken Smart Meters

Utility PG&E has hit another snag with its smart meter roll-out. Monday afternoon, the company announced it will replace 1,600 of its smart meters, which were manufactured by Landis+Gyr, because of a defect that causes the miscalculation of customer energy bills. PG&E says the faulty meters were occasionally running fast, and overcharging customers.

PG&E is spending $2.2 billion on rolling out 10 million smart meters (this is both electric and gas), and has installed about 8 million of the new meters so far. Landis+Gyr has only supplied 2 million of the 8 million meters so far, and GE has supplied the bulk of the rest.

In addition to replacing the broken meters, PG&E will offer full refunds for customers that were overcharged, and PG&E says the average refund will be $40. PG&E will also give customers a $25 credit for the inconvenience and offer customers a free in-home energy audit.

PG&E should be lauded for publicly announcing the problem, correcting it and providing full refunds and new meters. Let’s see how fast and convenient the process is for the affected customers.
The smart meter problems began back in 2009, when customers in Bakersfield, Calif. accused PG&E’s new smart meters of overcharging them for their power, and started a lawsuit. A Sept. 2010 report on PG&E’s smart meter program found the system wasn’t overcharging customers (but ironically has been for these 1,600 broken meters), but the utility had made mistakes both in implementing the new technology and in reaching out to customers to explain how it would change their bills. Last month, PG&E CEO Peter Darbee stepped down after a difficult 2010 for the utility.

Millions of households across America are taking a first step into the world of the “smart grid,” as their power companies install meters that can tell them how much electricity they are using hour by hour — and sometimes, appliance by appliance. But not everyone is happy about it.

I wrote last November about a roll out in my city to upgrade everybody’s power meters to the “smart” kind which should allow the power companies to operate and communicate remotely with our electricity. Allow me to ask you this, Has a poor person ever given you a well paying job?

I didn't think so!

Why do liberals want to punish your success? Are they jealous that you have done well? well kind of.

They want you to pay more so they can play less and do less. They intend to have you support them.

Since they didn't do as well as you, Of course they did not put out the same effort as you did, But somehow they feel entitled to your outcome. Why? Because they are pushing this country into total socialism.

I want a FLAT TAX... Period!

I shouldn't be punished for being a successful individual.

My success shouldn't be punished in order to afford someone else anything.

Surviving a massive power outage in Our Country

If the Large Transformers that carry the Electric down the power lines , Go down due to an "EMP" it could take up to four years to repair.

How will you survive a four year power outage?

I will try and explain what you will need to do if you choose to make it through.

You will have a massive struggle on your hands, Neighborhoods will have to pool their talents together to survive.

There are several ways to get water, swimming pool water will be there for you to use, But it will need boiler before use.

You can use plastic or metal drums to catch rain water, Plastic sheeting laid upon the ground will catch condensation.

You will indeed have to use your heads to get through these rough times.

Stock up on can good and dry goods, flour, cornmeal, oatmeal, SPAM, canned pea's , canned beans, and such.

Have a cool dry place for storage.

Preparing for an American Crisis

I have done some special things to my home lately, Solar energy for example.

I bought and installed 6) 15 watt solar panels giving me 90 watts of battery changing power.

I have a small battery bank of 12 volt automotive batteries, Hooked to a 1000 watt DC to AC Power Inverter.

This enables me to power lights , refrigerator, portable cooling unit, a television and the like, when the Power Grid is down. I have clear plastic 55 gallon barrels to be able to collect rain water that are hooked to a 12 volt DC pump, so it can be powered from a simple car battery set up.

Power and Water are going to be a "BIG DEAL" one of these days in the very near future.

Food storage is also a big deal, Please people when you do your shopping each time just purchase an extra can or two, and put it aside, it could just save your life someday.

If you are indeed thinking about some type of survival apparatus better start buying items now, Before there is a big rush on things and you simply wont be able to get it.

Sometimes you must think outside the box.

Please do not just sit there with your head in the sand thinking that it couldn’t ever happen in America.

Think about your family, your friends, your pets, People and animals will count on you in the near future.

How will you survive a disaster?

You can make a Solar over, Yes you can cook with Mirrors, it’s a fact.

Loughner, charged with critically wounding Rep. Gabrielle Giffords on Saturday in a shooting spree that killed six and wounded 13 others, is described by acquaintances in terms that have become familiar for suspects in violent rampages: a loner, short-tempered, bitter, weird pot smoker, a 22 year old mentally ill child.

He was upset? upset at what exactly?
His ramblings are meaningless, His teachers were afraid of him and yet nothing was done.
Where are and who are his parents?
When did his signs of mental illness begin to show?
What makes a person act like this and do as he did?
The left is trying to twist this as they always do, But this child had some real and true issue's
Did his family try to help him? all of these questions need to be answered.
A merely troubled child doesn't preform this kind of violent act period.
Drugs? was this simply drug related? He couldn't pass a drug test to join the US military, how long has he been doing drugs?
The media is trying to make this a political issue , Which it surely isn't. why would they do such a thing?

My heart goes out to all that were wounded or killed, This guy took out innocent people, They went there that day to speak with and to get photographed with a State Representative and have a remembered day.
Well those who survived this vicious attack got that alright, Not what they were expecting. This boy killed or wounded, sons and daughters and mothers , fathers, and grandparents, all or any could be of our own family.
I completely condemn his actions and behavior, This is NO WAY to be an American, we debate and talk out our differences in this country. There simply is no room for violence here.
I have always encouraged We the People to speak out, by Talking to in person or in writing or by calling our Government Representatives. This behavior by a Nut is completely outrageous.
I would adore to see this nut job get the electric chair, plain and simple.
He killed an innocent nine year old child...This family will never recover from such a devastating loss.
My prayers are with this distraught family, For God's Sake why did he do this to an innocent family!

When I was a boy in the 1970's this Country was proud and strong, Our people carried their heads high, America was wonderful, It was exceptional and we all had pride in ourselves as American Citizens. There weren't Toyota drivers and Communism seekers.
"What Happened"?
Where did all these liberal socialism/communism seekers come from?
It makes me sick to see these weak utter sheep citizens.
"Oh Please Too Big Government give me something, I am entitled"
We have as a people bred this into our children, Teachers have indoctrinated it into our children.
WHY? Because we as Americans don't care anymore that's why, We have became a Hand out Society.
Most of our problems are the Majority of Americans are just followers, instead of doers.
They are just too busy to get involved, Only 32% of this country even follow Government happening.

I hope that we American citizens are following along with whats taking place in the country.
I suggest that all Americans that give a dam, Stock up on food and water, because I think that you are going to need it.
This country is going to crash, Many do not want to hear this, But the truth is the truth.
We have to get back to "GOD" and we must pray, We also must help our friends, and neighbors to prepare for a collapse. Now everyday Americans refusing to be scanned at airports, Well why do we all need to be scanned or patted down? ask yourselves that!
Answer Muslims, Muslims killed us on 911 and still try to kill us today.
So when you see a Muslim say thanks!
Airport security had to be ramped up because of Muslim terrorists period, You dislike the idea of being scanned or patted down, well then do not fly, end of story.

I am just an American , explaining to Americans what the cause of this raised security is indeed all about.

Tonight I watched Chriss Matthews, Keith Olbermann, and Ed Shultz I know how did I stand the absolute hate, well I dont know for sure. But all three communists had the exact same subjects minute by minute.
O'Donnell in Connecticut, and Jim Demint, and Rubio, Then Joe Miller and Sharron Angle, it was disgusting their shows where all filled with the right wing, tea party people, Sure Communists do hate true Americans, But hour after hour they say nothing good about these wonderful real people.
Its amazing to say the least. Communists such as these three men truly adore Obama and Soros, and that is a fact. They believe Government is the absolute answer to every ones problems. Redistribution of wealth is all they seek. all they know is Tax the rich Tax the rich. They haven't a clue in the world that The Rich create JOBS in this country. Mr. Obama has us on the path of Total Government aka Communism.
Chriss Matthews, Keith Olbermann, and Ed Shultz are so far up the socialism lobby that they just do not know what our country was built upon or what it should look like, I like these good American Tea Party candidate's, Indeed I do. We need people who will bring common sense back to our US Government again.

As most of my followers know, I grew up on a large ranch in the country around just good ole hard working regular folks. Neighbors helped each other out and it was a kinder gentler nation then.
Our days where simple and there weren't interruptions from cell phone calls, We ate better more nourishing meals with our families. We have certainly gotten off track here the last few years haven't we?
Americans used to go to church and raise their children right, Teachers used to teach our children and earn a wage, for their performance, Unions used to be good for the American worker, I have watched this all on its way to failure. Right now as we speak the collapse of America is happening and has been happening for the past few years. Teachers unions have ruined teachers, Labor unions have ruined the workers, and our Government has ruined our people. In turn our children are lacking education and the people have become dependant upon progressive government. Who ever thought this would happen?
One thing we all need to remember about our liberal government and the socializing of America, Just know that 98% of Europeans voted for Adolf Hitler, and you know what happened there.
Obama was elected by a huge margin also, Does that wake you up to whats happening here?
Hitler nationalized the banks, schools, factories, Before he nationalized its people. Remember that!
And Yes I am comparing Barrack Obama to Adolf Hitler just in case you were wondering.

The Obama administration asserts that the financial reform bill the President will sign into law this week will prevent future crises. In fact, it will fail to do so because it does not effectively address those perverse incentives. Indeed, it increases the likelihood of the accounting scams that are the very reason why perverse incentives pay.

All he did was make it easier to Banks and Financial Organisations to repo your Home, Vehicle, or Whatever, This bill does nothing toward actually protecting the US Consumer.

The bill does not address the problematic nature of modern executive and professional compensation even though the data shows that these are leading causes of the Great Recession. The percentage of executive compensation tied to short-term reported income has increased since the crisis, according to an independent study by James F. Reda & Associates.

The law will create a new regulatory council to monitor financial institutions in order to prevent the companies from becoming "too big to fail." It also gives the Federal Reserve [official website] the power to supervise the largest financial companies and report to the government any risks the firms may pose to the economy at large.
Why isn't Fannie and Freddie included? ask yourself indeed that!
Wasn't this organisation the leading cause for this economic crisis!!!

When signing the bill, Obama called the reforms "the strongest consumer financial protections in history" and stated that because of financial reform, "the American people will never again be asked to foot the bill for Wall Street's mistakes." Then why doesn't this Bill actually have the bones in it to enhance the protection of the people from Banks? Why does it give Banks more power over the people? Bank of America only helped one in ten struggling American home owners to be able to keep their homes, Millions were foreclosed upon, Obama's financial reform helping the people, "Really"?
Obama-Backed Financial Reform Bill Would Create New Bureaucracy with Power likely to help the financial industry than individual consumers,
With President Obama financial reform legislation into law in the next few days the public is hearing grandiose rhetoric about the bill's merits. The president has promised the bill will "end an era of irresponsibility" while Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) said the bill will clean up Wall Street and "fix the system that caused the recession." Do We the People actually believe what Reid says? I know that I surely do not.
The public doesn't trust Congress, an institution that can't pass a budget and is responsible for our $13 trillion debt, to manage and fix the dysfunctional and complex financial relationships on Wall Street.
Its absolutely no wonder why the Tea Parties are having such a great success in this USA.
In the real world no crisis is like the last one. The next financial crisis could be a liquidity crisis, a debt crisis, a crisis concerning the value of the dollar, or something else. This bill will not only fail to prevent the next crisis, but will create an economy that is weakened and less able to withstand the next crisis. You will see in November whether its a choice election or not, all you and your administration does in blame Bush, its all you know. You liberal socialists have no idea how to take personal responsibility and it shows, Bush wanted to regulate Fanny and Freddy in 2001, 2003, and 2006, But your people especially Dodd and Frank stated that the country didn't need regulation that all was OK with the financial industry.
So even after that truth all you have is blame Bush wow!

Sir you promised this country that after your bull crap stimulus that America's un employment wouldn't go above 8% but that was completely wrong, We have been at 9 1/2 % for a very long time now. So what did your wasted taxpayer money stimulus actually do for this country? Beside just tick millions of us off.
Seems as if the leftist socialist movement in this country is being rejected.
The State of Arizona is completely pissed off, The State of Virginia is pissed off, The State of Missouri is pissed off, What next? Texas, Florida. We the people do not want any more Lawyers, Attorneys, Judges, Lobbyists, as members of congress or the senate, These people cant represent us period. How in the hell can these rich hogs at the American Trough Represent us the actual people of America.

They right 2300 page bills "WHY"? to somehow justify what they do, and write them in ways that the average middle class American cant even understand what all of it mean, Why? because we aren't Lawyers and Judges, We are hard working people in manufacturing, construction, firemen, policemen, national guard members, health care workers, We the people do the work that these born with a silver spoon people couldn't do.

Why do they live in million dollar homes and we live in $60,000.00 homes.

Why is the average wage of we the people workers of the USA at $54,000 a yr, and the average Government worker at $84,000.00, a $30,000.00 a yr difference? why are they so special? We the people need to change this, It has to be an American Goal.

2010 is the Year of Reset , the year to resist Socialism.

Its time to put America back on the road of a free society, One nation individually, One nation under God.

Lets stop this handout society and build a hand up society, Lets get back to what our forefathers had in mind, Instead of the separation that we deal with now.

This country has moved too far to the left period.

Our founders would be appalled at this nation we have dissolved theirs in to.

Our founders were great men , strong men, intelligent men, and most of all brave men. We the people do not want to give up, What they were willing to give their lives for. We the people are sick and tired of apologies from Obama, We aren't ashamed of our country, We are proud of it, Sure we have had our share of problems, But we are indeed a great diverse Country. Please we need new Re Founders of this country. If we do not put our hard work hats on and get some morals and values back in this country we will have lost it.

We need to balance our budgets' and stop our deficits', Pay our bills and stop borrowing period. We need to bring back American pride and start building things here once again and make this country great. We need to bring back the Pledge of Allegiance, and return to going to church on Sundays as a family. Some where our family value's have been stolen or lost. I beg all American Country men and women to dig in and fight for what you believe, fight for what's right for your country.

We have always been an exceptional country, American exceptionalism! America has always been a nation of hard workers and "We Can Do" When I was a child no one ever used to say "I Can't" So we the people do not want to hear it now.

I want a President and a Government that has a back bone, But just know that the major majority of We the People aren't looking for Government to play a part in every part of our everyday lives, We are more or less better off left well enough alone. But we do want "Strong Border Security" We want sensible regulations but not to be over regulated, We want the United States Constitution to always be followed and protected period.

We expect REAL and True Americans to be in our Government.

We do not want any more luxury yacht owning tax evading liberal socialistic state senators. We have had enough, We want no more Charles Rangel's corruption.

If people are representing us then by god it is only right they be of us, for the people, by the people. How else will the actually know what's important to us. I am so glad that Americans of all races and political parties are waking up. Its about time.

Now its time for our Too Big Government to also wake up.

There is a young couple that lives down the street from me, They are in their twenties and have two children, and drive an old ratted out Honda civic and neither have high school diploma’s, and neither have jobs, They are ex drug users and are basically just useless people with no survival skills at all. And they are now raising two children that will grow up being completely helpless just as the parents. Yes they admit to voting for Obama, Yes they admit that they want Government to take care of them because they have it bad.

I offered to purchase the young man a used lawn mower so he could go around and start mowing the neighbors’ lawns for $20 or $30 dollars a pop and make his family some money. His answer to me was “no thanks that would be too hard” So I said so why don’t you sign up for the military, again his answer was completely outrageous, He stated I haven’t got any reason to do that, Other stupid people believe in doing that”

So I said that I did 6 yrs in the US Army, he said “Well that’s you it’s not for me”

This guy is (23) years old Oh My God people, and worst of all is his mother was a school teacher, Can you believe this shit. These kinds of people are the prime example for our country being in the crapper. These are the kind of people that think if my wife and I whom work very hard and long hours and even weekends to make a good living and survive, If we have six loaves of bread , that we should give them three, These are the kind of people that drive around and see someone with a nice boat and a new truck as being rich, and that guy should have to give up the boat that he worked weekends and extra hours to earn and pay for, To the Government to cloth those people up the street.

This isn’t right, I hate this social justice garbage period. Fairness? I say Bullshit period!!

My parents taught me the only way to have anything is thru hard work, end of story.

We have raised an entire section of America basically to be beggars’ and low lives, an entire race of people with the complete lack of self pride, These are the Obama voters, those poor people indoctrinated by unions and liberals. These people are a ruined society.

They will never amount to anything other than an American disgrace, This is all about the have not’s simply wanting to take it from the haves, This isn’t what any of the civil rights leaders of the past wanted for this country, They pleaded for equality, equality to work and earn the same amounts, Equality to be able to live in the same neighborhoods’,

Equality to be able to eat in the same restaurants’, Social Justice isn’t what Martin Luther King fought for No Sir not one little bit, The civil rights movement was purely and simply about Real Equality, Nothing else.

I for one am sick and tired of our new want a handout instead of a hand up society.

We have to get control of this condition in our country by re education these poor, poor liberal indoctrinated people. Take your children aside and have pure and simple one on one conversation with them, Make sure we aren’t creating anymore of these lazy and weak, helpless citizens.

I am asking all people to recognize this is a country wide issue and merely can not just be left alone.

Let me tell you all something here, I to am tired of all the name throwing and political rustling , That is taking place in this country, Not all Democrats are bad, Not all Republicans are good, Shit I mean do we not all know this? Sure we have disagreements But they certainly do not need to get out of control right.

When I was a child my parents sure they were political people, and they are lovers of our country, But they never go angry as some are getting today. But back then we didn't live in the hand out society we do now. People worked very hard for what they had, Because they earned it wisely, There were a whole lot less slackers back then, Because didn't appreciate the slacker mentality then, as now they are willing to tolerate it based on political correctness. My Father worked as many as three jobs at one time and never complained, He was the man of the house and this was merely the expectation, Nothing more, Because our parents wanted us to have a life that was better than theirs period. So the people naturally just believed in hard work, earn what you have and been proud of it and take care of it. Now all of that has completely changed.
Its a throw away society isn't it, Well the majority of us Americans are stirring around and starting to pay attention once again aren't we? Learning from our parents and grand parents may have just paid off for some of us, We have to get our children and grand children involved with our country once again don't we, We have to open their young eyes to the greatness of our America, We must spend time with our children showing them the amazement's and beauty of our incredible country, The country that gives us life and pleasure and security, We need to instill upon them that they will become the Stuarts of this land and just how valuable it truly is to their survival and future, We need to give them the values that our beloved forefathers held near and dear to their hearts. We need to begin an American awakening within our own families.
Camping allows for this, I take my children and family on long weekend camping trips, We get to see different aspects of American life and our vast scenic landscapes, America has been filled with fundamental beauties, from sun up to sun down, I urge you to spend time with your families and get off this political roller coaster that we have been riding for a couple of years now, Get out laugh and enjoy yourselves, Teach your children and grand children the value of a dollar, teach what an absolutely glorious country we live in, explain all the trials and tribulations this country has been through to just get to where we are today.
Let them smell the clean air of the mountains and watch the incredible sunsets and sun rises, from around our wonderful nation. The smell of a pine wood campfire, a refreshing walk through the woods in early morning, There isn't anything more affordable or more mind awakening in your entire life then this, I am telling you people, Camping is very affordable to do, You don't need everything to be new to be able to enjoy the great outdoors, Pick things up and yard sales or second hand stores, borrow it from friends, You can get out there today for very little monies, and it will be the best thing you have ever done, You can laugh at your mistakes, and take pride in your successes, There surely isn't anything more fulfilling in this world. The laughs and smiles will be worth the adventure, trust me, Get out there period, There isn't anything holding you back.
You Americans are the finest and best people in the world without a dought, You have stood up to many things that other countries only dream of, You have earned you right to enjoy yourselves.

In America I am lucky that our Patriot Founders had the good sense to give us that freedom. I am lucky to live in such a wonderful country to were I have the choice of my success, I get out of life what I choose to put into it. That God for the good sense of our Founders for making this nation a capitalistic nation, and not a socialistic or communistic nation to where I couldn't practice my freedoms. On this “Independence Day 2010 “ I thank our American Founders and I thank God for giving us our Founders, I also pray for all of those proud Americans that have given their blood so that I can be here today. I will fight until my last breath before I will allow our American freedoms to be taken away. The free will that I have inside me as an American Patriot is strong, I hope that the people reading this will have the strong will within them, We have to see the Nation that our forefathers saw within us, We the people have to share their voices and share their

thoughts of freedom and liberty, If we do not, Our great nation will end up in utter destruction.

Why don't they have to have this emergency shut off device? The American oil rigs are mandated by our government to have this device, Shell, Mobil, Texaco all have to have this device, BP Oil doesn't have this device, "WHY" Because the first executive order that Obama signed was to make BP OIL exempt from having this safety device. So that being said, Why is it that only this one BP rig has a problem? Seems kinda weird hey! So was this explosion set? Could be! Obama was for drilling in the Gulf a few weeks ago, But you know He has changed his mind now. This is the conversations in these blogs and out in real life at your doctors office the mall wherever there are people. No one gives a good God Damn about this country any more.

People are too busy or just do not care that has turned into a huge problem in this country, Younger people don't pay attention and haven't been taught to care about their country. I am 50 yrs old and back in my day Luckily for me , My Parents pounded in my head that one has to pay attention in these here United States of America if you intend on being a good citizen, But now a days people just take everything for granted. Arizona's new piece of legislation, SB 1070, does even more to keep its residents safe. The legislation:

allows police officers to ask for proof of residency if they suspect an individual is in the country illegally

allows illegal aliens to be jailed and fined up to $2500

bans "soft" immigration policies at local police agencies that prevent officers from asking about a suspects immigration status

allows Arizonans to sue if they feel a government agency has adopted a policy that hinders the enforcement of illegal immigration laws

prohibits people from blocking traffic when they seek or offer day-labor services on street corners

and makes it illegal for people to transport illegal aliens if the drivers of vehicles know their passengers are in the country illegally and if the transportation furthers their illegal presence in the country

Congress should be ashamed that states are being forced to enforce federal law because the federal government doesn't have the backbone to do the job. Please observe the will of the American people and make sure our immigration laws are enforced!

Well I will explain the actual truth here today.

They “The Bankers” will put you in a Home Forbearance Program, Now this actually sounds like a helpful program to help you the American taxpayer to KEEP your home doesn’t it.

Well on the out side this is indeed what it looks like, but on the inside it truly is a despicable plan to foreclose on your home that you have indeed worked so hard for. This plan allows you to make one half of your regular house payment to keep you in your home for about six months at times maybe a little longer, But for every month say your payment is $1600.00, You just pay $800.00, So this other $800.00 they keep track of and apply late charges to and at the end of the six or so months and now after the Home Forbearance period you now Owe $4800.00 + late fee’s for a Total of $5900.00. Now they still haven’t at this time done anything for you other than caused you allot of heartache and grief. They will now at this time send you a Right to Foreclose notice. Since you can not pay the $5900.00 So you call them again and they understand you tough times and they want to work with you Oh just so bad they indeed feel for you , That they will put you in another Home Forbearance Program , Because they as I said want to work with you, Yea Right!

So here we go the same thing, you must make those half payments once again and make sure that you are on time with these ½ payments because they can reverse their agreement anytime they want if you are late with one of your ½ payments. So now another six months go by and now you will get a coupon in the mail that you now must pay them $11,800.00 and they will send you a notice with The Right to Accelerate your Foreclosure, Now all alone these people have told you that they are wanting to keep you out of foreclosure “Correct” Sure this has all been a ploy to actually take your home from you. And you bought it hook line and sinker. When our Too Large Government says that they are going to help the American tax payer what really does that mean in reality?

It means basically “We the Large Bankers of this country” Own you and we will do what ever it takes to make huge profits and crush the little people. Wilson was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in late 1920 for his services in the previous year. However, his brief retirement in Washington was unhappy; the ill and embittered former president lived out his days in virtual seclusion.

After the armistice in November 1918, Wilson decided to head the American peace delegation personally, hoping to assure the implementation of his conception of the postwar world. Despite being received with great adulation by the public in Europe, the president was soon confronted by Allied leaders who preferred that the peace process be a means to incapacitate the German war machine for generations to come. Dubbed derisively as “the drum major of civilization,” the idealistic president was forced in the end to approve compromises in order to achieve his top priority, the League of Nations, included in the Treaty of Versailles. Which is know as the U N today.

An exhausted Wilson returned to the United States, where opposition to the treaty and League was gaining strength. In typical fashion, he took his appeal directly to the public on a railroad speaking tour through the Midwest and West. In late September Wilson collapsed and was taken back to Washington, where he suffered a stroke on October 2. He was partially paralyzed and was incapable of spearheading the fight for the League; the Senate defeated proposals late in 1919 and again in the spring of 1920.
Rather than accept compromise, Wilson chose to take the treaty to the electorate by publishing entreaties on its behalf, believing that a Democratic triumph in the Election of 1920 would force the Senate to see things his way. His call for a “solemn referendum” was not heeded by the voters, who handed Warren Harding and the Republicans a smashing victory.

Henry Agaard Wallace
One of Wallace's immediate tasks was to reduce the grain surplus. Wallace, along with Assistant Secretary of Agriculture Rexford Tugwell and others, authored the first major New Deal agricultural legislation, the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1933. That radical legislation, later found unconstitutional by the U.S. Supreme Court, had the goal to "relieve the existing national economic emergency by increasing agricultural purchasing power." Local boards consisting of farmers were established to determine the production of farm commodities in their own communities. Unfortunately, by the time the act was passed, farmers had already planted their crops. Making one of the most difficult decisions of his life, Wallace ordered the destruction of six million hogs and 10 million acres of cotton in an effort to bring the surpluses down.
The Court struck down the act in 1936 because farming was not considered to be interstate commerce and therefore could not be regulated by the federal government. Years later Wallace would see the AAA as one of his crowning achievements.

Eventually, Wallace's relationship with Truman deteriorated completely and on September 20, 1946, the president removed him from his cabinet post. Wallace then assumed the Progressive Party leadership and became its candidate for president in 1948. In a four-way race, Truman carried the election, and Wallace placed a distant fourth.

For the Founders, then, there is a natural moral order--rules discovered by human reason that promote human well-being, rules that can and should guide human life and politics.
The Progressives rejected these claims as naive and unhistorical. In their view, human beings are not born free. John Dewey, the most thoughtful of the Progressives, wrote that freedom is not "something that individuals have as a ready-made possession." It is "something to be achieved." In this view, freedom is not a gift of God or nature. It is a product of human making, a gift of the state. Man is a product of his own history, through which he collectively creates himself. He is a social construct. Since human beings are not naturally free, there can be no natural rights or natural law. Therefore, Dewey also writes, "Natural rights and natural liberties exist only in the kingdom of mythological social zoology."
Since the Progressives held that nature gives man little or nothing and that everything of value to human life is made by man, they concluded that there are no permanent standards of right. Dewey spoke of "historical relativity." However, in one sense, the Progressives did believe that human beings are oriented toward freedom, not by nature (which, as the merely primitive, contains nothing human), but by the historical process, which has the character of progressing toward increasing freedom. So the "relativity" in question means that in all times, people have views of right and wrong that are tied to their particular times, but in our time, the views of the most enlightened are true because they are in conformity with where history is going.

For the Founders, then, the individuals existence and freedom in this crucial respect are not a gift of government. They are a gift of God and nature. Government is therefore always and fundamentally in the service of the individual, not the other way around. The purpose of government, then, is to enforce the natural law for the members of the political community by securing the people's natural rights. It does so by preserving their lives and liberties against the violence of others. In the founding, the liberty to be secured by government is not freedom from necessity or poverty. It is freedom from the despotic and predatory domination of some human beings over others.
Government's main duty for the Founders is to secure that freedom--at home through the making and enforcement of criminal and civil law, abroad through a strong national defense. The protection of life and liberty is achieved through vigorous prosecutions of crime against person and property or through civil suits for recovery of damages, these cases being decided by a jury of one's peers.
The Progressives regarded the Founders' scheme as defective because it took too benign a view of nature. As Dewey remarked, they thought that the individual was ready-made by nature. The Founders' supposed failure to recognize the crucial role of society led the Progressives to disparage the Founders' insistence on limited government. The Progressive goal of politics is freedom, now understood as freedom from the limits imposed by nature and necessity. They rejected the Founders' conception of freedom as useful for self-preservation for the sake of the individual pursuit of happiness. For the Progressives, freedom is redefined as the fulfillment of human capacities, which becomes the primary task of the state.

Why Do Liberals Hate Guns? And Americans

1. Liberal Democrats Hate Gun Owners
Gun owners, as a general rule, are more conservative and are more likely to vote Republican. Gun owners are also more likely to join the Armed forces and to give unqualified support to our troops. Gun owners are also more likely to think it was a good idea for people like Richard Nixon to go after communists like Alger Hiss. Many gun owners supported the Vietnam War. Some of them allowed themselves to be drafted and others went so far as to enlist of their own accord. These, however, are all things that liberal Democrats despise. If gun owners are in favor of these hated things, guns must be very bad.
2. Gun Control as a Means to Attain Political Power
Many misguided people have an honest aversion to guns and would prefer the enactment of strict gun control regulations. In this great country they are entitled to their opinion and to vote their beliefs. The liberal Democrats know this and use these people as a means to win elections.
The liberal Democrats are actually an unholy alliance of single issue voting blocs. The liberal Democrats believe that they can win at the ballot box if they support the following issues and groups: abortion, homosexuality, affirmative action, opposition to school vouchers, anti-religious sentiment, radical feminists and big labor unions.
Gun control is just another special interest in their bag of tricks. The best example of this is the assault weapons ban. Every rational person knows that the ban eliminates certain guns based on cosmetic features. Bayonet lugs and flash suppressors do not make semi-automatic guns more deadly or more suitable for criminal use! However, the assault weapon ban is the ideal wedge to use in a heated political debate. ("My Republican and Libertarian friends are against the assault weapons ban!")

Liberal Democrats Hate the Constitution
The Constitution protects the individual rights of individuals and it protects individuals from the State. Liberal Democrats hate this. They believe that they know what's good for us, how to use our money better than we do, and they know whether I should be allowed to carry a gun on my person to protect myself, my family and my Synagogue. How else do you explain that liberal Democrats find a right to abortion emanating from the penumbra of the Constitution, but cannot seem to find any individual right at all in the Second Amendment?
Crime
Democrats know that when someone commits a crime, it is society that has failed and should have to pay -- in the form of higher taxes and reduced freedom.
Republicans believe that every person inherently knows right from wrong, whether they were raised by harlot on the mean streets of East St. Louis or by a wealthy Episcopal minister in the ritzy 'burbs of Germantown. They know that the solution to violent crime is to beat the hell out of the perpetrators.
Smoking
Democrats consider any form of smoking of tobacco that is produced by the large corporations to be evil. The only material acceptable for smoking is marijuana or Native American ritual tobacco. If you are invited to the home of one of your cool friends and are handed a joint, do not think you have to eat it just because there is a sign on the wall that says, "Thank you for not Smoking".
Republicans think smoking is fine as long as it provides the opportunity to ship large quantities of money to the subsidized tobacco farmers and producers. Of course the smoking of any "controlled substance" is not permitted even if tobacco kills far more people. Because, it is the law, you idiot. Republicans are for law and order. Lots of both.
Wealth
Democrats believe in the concept of "equal distribution of wealth" even if they happened to be hoarding quite a pile of it. They justify this by the fact that to do their job requires that they live in a certain high class style that allows them to associate with the influential.
Republicans believe that hard work and the economic "invisible hand" will make sure that anyone who deserves it gets it or the reverse as the case may be. By definition, if you are broke and living off the street, you deserve it.

The left wing of our country seems to believe that they can push anything that they want onto the American people.

Bank of America not helping home owners

B of A received litterally Millions from these American Tax Payer bail outs.
However, They are not truly using these monies to assist in trouble home owners.
They are entering these induviduals into a Home Forebearance program to help them and lower their mortgage payment, Then what actually happens is this.
They except a few smaller payments, Then WHAM! they hit them with a one third higher monthly payment.
Banks like B of A actually want the American home owner to have to give up their homes. They really do not want to help the We the People at all.
Mr. Holder the US Attorney General has asked bankers to assist with down on their luck Americans, However many banks such as Bank of America are still even today just interested to whats known as "American Greed"
They truly could care less about the American people who gave them their hand working tax payer dollars under Bush and Obama, Mr. Holder asked for mortgage modifcations be available for those in need, But in return the greedy bankers Raise these Americans mortgages instead. How is this helping the we the people in trouble?
I would ask that every American that is in some sort of finnancial trouble to write Mr. Holder and the major Banks that received a Government bailout and complain about the complete un fairness being offered here.

O'Reilly pointed to the change in tone at CNBC as a specific example. Certain on-air CNBC personalities had been outspoken in criticizing Obama's economic policies. However, that has changed somewhat and according to O'Reilly, CNBC Chicago Mercantile Exchange reporter Rick Santelli - the inspiration for the recent Tax Day tea party protests - had said he had been sent to a "reeducation camp."

"There is also emerging evidence that GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt and NBC News chief Jeff Zucker told CNBC personnel to stop criticizing Obama's economic policies," O'Reilly said. "Now, that would be a major breach of journalistic ethics. In fact, Obama critic Rick Santelli is reported to have said he was sent to a quote, ‘reeducation camp,' by NBC. In addition, the hateful MSNBC network continues to air vicious attacks every day."

O'Reilly played a clip from MSNBC' "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" on April 16, when Janeane Garofalo, in a hateful tirade, called Tax Day tea party protest participants "nothing but a bunch of teabagging rednecks."

"Well, this week Jeff Immelt met with GE stockholders in Florida and there was near revolt," O'Reilly continued. "That's no surprise, as also this week Forbes magazine labeled Immelt one of the worst-performing CEOs in the country."

O'Reilly also played the exchange between his producer Jesse Watters and Jeffrey Immelt at the April 22 shareholders' meeting, where he questioned the ethics of MSNBC. But, according to O'Reilly there is reason to believe the slant of MSNBC is allowed because GE stands to profit if Obama is successful in instituting his priorities, specifically cap-and-trade.

"Now, most CEOs would have stopped NBC's corruption a long time ago, but Immelt may be looking for a major payoff," O'Reilly said. "According to reporting by the Washington Examiner, GE is heavily lobbying the Obama administration for bailout money. The company is also pushing for the proposed cap-and-trade program. Apparently GE has set up a joint venture it hopes would manage billions of dollars in cap-and-trade transactions should that corporate carbon tax pass Congress."

NBC has been actively promoting green issues and this revelation by O'Reilly happens to fall during the NBC Universal networks "Green is Universal" week.

"Now think about this ladies and gentlemen - a failing corporation, General Electric might reap billions of dollars if the Feds OK the carbon deal," O'Reilly said. "By the way, GE is already getting taxpayer bailout money for its financial unit. So it's not a stretch to assume Immelt would want to help President Obama as much as possible."

According to O'Reilly, the level of corruption is so big, it stands to make Watergate look small.

"This is obviously a major story - when a powerful corporation, which controls a major part of the American media, may be using its power and the airwaves to influence politics, in order to make money from government contracts," O'Reilly said. "That kind of corruption would make Watergate look small. We hope it is not true."

Obama’s hidden bailout of General Electric

03/03/09 8:12 PM While many companies hire lobbyists to win earmarks, General Electric’s unmatched lobbying force has secured a tax increase — or its equivalent — in President Barack Obama’s budget.

Labeled “climate revenues” and totaling $646 billion over eight years, this line item in Obama’s budget has inspired confidence in GE Chief Executive Officer Jeff Immelt. As Immelt put it in a letter this week, he believes that the Obama administration will be a profitable “financier” and “key partner.”

On page 115 of Obama’s fiscal 2010 budget is Table S-2, titled “Effect of Budget Proposals on Projected Deficits.” The chart forecasts the costs of Obama’s spending proposals and the added revenue of his proposed tax increases. It also forecasts, beginning in 2012, billions of dollars a year in “climate revenues.” This budget line, which has struck fear into some lawmakers from coal-dependent states, could spell salvation for GE in these times of uncertainty.

How can Obama generate “climate revenues”? By forcing companies to pay for the right to emit greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide.

A tax on greenhouse gas emissions could accomplish this, but Obama’s preferred policy — and the approach embraced by a few congressional bills in recent years — is called “cap and trade.” In short, cap and trade requires businesses to spend “credits” to pay for their emissions. Businesses can buy or sell these credits, and the market — not the government — would directly set the price of a credit. Government would initially auction them off, generating revenue.

GE — a member of the U.S. Climate Action Partnership, which advocates cap and trade — leads the push for greenhouse gas restrictions.

In the fourth quarter of 2008 as the company’s stock fell 30 percent, GE spent $4.26 million on lobbying — that’s $46,304 each day, including weekends, Thanksgiving and Christmas. In 2008, the company spent a grand total of $18.66 million on lobbying.

Reviewing their lobbying filings, you might think you were looking at Al Gore’s agenda. GE’s specific lobbying issues included the “Climate Stewardship Act,” “Electric Utility Cap and Trade Act,” “Global Warming Reduction Act,” “Federal Government Greenhouse Gas Registry Act,” “Low Carbon Economy Act,” and “Lieberman-Warner Climate Security Act.”

This isn’t altruism or public relations. GE has started a joint venture called Greenhouse Gas Services, which invests in — and hopes to manage the trade in — greenhouse gas credits. But these investments and this trading floor are of basically no use and nearly no value without government restrictions on greenhouse gases.

Hence the lobbying, buttressed by generous campaign contributions: Employees and executives gave $1.35 million to politicians in the past election while GE’s political action committee shelled out $1.55 million. About 64 percent of this $2.9 million went to Democrats, with Obama easily the top recipient of GE money.

Obama’s budget includes the payoff, promising to start a multibillion-dollar greenhouse gas industry by 2012. In a letter this week, GE’S Immelt told shareholders that current events present an “opportunity of a lifetime,” because “capitalism will be ‘reset.’ ”

Immelt wrote: “The interaction between government and business will change forever. In a reset economy, the government will be a regulator; and also an industry policy champion, a financier, and a key partner.”

In short, GE plans to get rich by being one of the government’s closest partners — which it has always been, thanks to its unmatched lobbying efforts.

The environmentalist at this point might respond, “Well, good for GE. if they can get rich while helping the planet, more power to them.” But this ignores important issues. First, restraining greenhouse gas emissions will cost Americans dearly. Gas, electricity and heating prices will all go up. The prices of manufactured and shipped goods will go up. A Clemson University report on similar cap-and-trade proposals forecast a 1 percent decline in he U.S. gross domestic product by 2015 if they were implemented.

There are environmental costs, also, to such a focus on greenhouse gases: Ethanol’s damage to water supplies, soil health and air quality are the fruit of government pushing the product as a climate-friendly fuel.

When the lobbying fingerprints of GE and other well-connected firms are considered, it’s not hard to conclude that the policy that will finally emerge won’t be the one that is best for the planet and least bad for the economy, but the one that is best for General Electric

Janet Napolitano was sworn in on January 21, 2009 as the third Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. Prior to joining the Obama Administration, Napolitano was mid-way through her second term as governor of the state of Arizona. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said Wednesday that she was briefed before the release of a controversial intelligence assessment and that she stands by the report, which lists returning veterans among terrorist risks to the U.S.
But the top House Democrat with oversight of the Department of Homeland Security said in a letter to Ms. Napolitano that he was "dumbfounded" that such a report would be issued. "This report appears to raise significant issues involving the privacy and civil liberties of many Americans - including war veterans," said Rep. Bennie Thompson of Mississippi, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, in his letter sent Tuesday night.

The letter was representative of a public furor over the nine-page document since its existence was reported in The Washington Times on Tuesday.

In her statement Wednesday, Ms. Napolitano defended the report, which says "rightwing extremism" may include groups opposed to abortion and immigration, as merely one among several threat assessments. But she agreed to meet with the head of the American Legion, who had expressed anger over the report, when she returns to Washington next week from a tour of the U.S.-Mexico border.

Hegseth, an Army veteran who served in Iraq, said the report represents a "gross misunderstanding and oversimplification" of the country's service members. He did not call for Napolitano's ouster, but said he would accept her resignation.

"If she volunteered to step down, that'd be very honorable of her," Hegseth said. "It would be a recognition of what she did."

Napolitano defended the report Wednesday, saying it is part of an ongoing series of assessments to provide information to state, local and tribal law enforcement agencies on "violent radicalization" in the United States.

"Let me be clear: we monitor the risks of violent extremism taking root here in the United States," Napolitano said in a statement. "We don't have the luxury of focusing our efforts on one group; we must protect the country from terrorism whether foreign or homegrown, and regardless of the ideology that motivates its violence."

But the unclassified report, which was produced by DHS' Office of Intelligence and Analysis also cited the case of Timothy McVeigh, a decorated Gulf War veteran who was executed in 2001 after being convicted of killing 168 people during the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995.

"The willingness of a small percentage of military personnel to join extremist groups during the 1990s because they were disgruntled, disillusioned or suffering from the psychological effects of war is being replicated today," the report reads.

Rehbein criticized the report in a letter sent to Napolitano on Monday.

He has jail meals down to 40 cents a serving and charges the inmates for them.

He stopped smoking and porno magazines in the jails. Took away their weights. Cut off all but "G" movies.

He started chain gangs so the inmates could do free work on county and city projects.

Then he started chain gangs for women so he wouldn't get sued for discrimination.

He took away cable TV until he found out there was a federal court order that required cable TV for jails. So he hooked up the cable TV again only let in the Disney channel and the weather channel.

When asked why the weather channel he replied, so they will know how hot it's gonna be while they are working on my chain gangs.

He cut off coffee since it has zero nutritional value.

When the inmates complained, he told them, "This isn't the Ritz/Carlton. If you don't like it, don't come back."

He bought Newt Gingrich' lecture series on videotape that he pipes into the jails.

When asked by a reporter if he had any lecture series by a Democrat, he replied that a democratic lecture series might explain why a lot of the inmates were in his jails in the first place.

With temperatures being even hotter than usual in Phoenix (116 degrees just set a new record), the Associated Press reports: About 2,000 inmates living in a barbed-wire-surrounded tent encampment at the Maricopa County Jail have been given permission to strip down to their government-issued pink boxer shorts.

On Wednesday, hundreds of men wearing boxers were either curled up on their bunk beds or chatted in the tents, which reached 138 degrees inside the week before.

Many were also swathed in wet, pink towels as sweat collected on their chests and dripped down to their pink socks.

"It feels like we are in a furnace," said James Zanzot, an inmate who has lived in the tents for 1 ½ years. "It's inhumane."

Joe Arpaio, the tough-guy sheriff who created the tent city and long ago started making his prisoners wear pink, and eat bologna sandwiches, is not one bit sympathetic He said Wednesday that he told all of the inmates: "It's 120 degrees in Iraq and our soldiers are living in tents too, and they have to wear full battle gear, but they didn't commit any crimes, so shut your damned mouths!"

Way to go, Sheriff! Maybe if all prisons were like this one there would be a lot less crime and/or repeat offenders. Criminals should be punished for their crimes - not live in luxury until it's time for their parole, only to go out and commit another crime so they can get back in to live on taxpayers money and enjoy things taxpayers can't afford to have for themselves.

American sea Captain Richard Phillips was safely rescued Sunday from four Somali pirates, who had been holding him for days in a lifeboat off the coast of Africa, a U.S. intelligence official said.
Three of the pirates were killed and one was in custody after what appeared to be a swift firefight off the Somali coast, the official said.
Initial reports indicate Phillips jumped overboard for a second time and the military was able to take advantage of the situation.
Phillips, 53, of Underhill, Vt., was transported to the USS Bainbridge nearby. He is resting comfortably after a checkup, the Navy said.
"Andrea and Richard have spoken and you can imagine their joy and what a happy moment it was for them," family spokeswoman Alison McColl said outside the Phillips' house.
McColl said Andrea wanted to thank the world for their prayer and wishes for her husband's safe return.

MANAMA, Bahrain (CNN) -- U.S. Navy snipers fatally shot three pirates holding an American cargo-ship captain hostage after seeing that one of the pirates "had an AK-47 leveled at the captain's back," a military official said Sunday.

Capt. Richard Phillips' ship, the Maersk Alabama, was stormed by pirates 300 miles off Somalia on Wednesday morning. He was "resting comfortably" on the USS Boxer after his rescue Sunday night, according to the Navy.

Phillips contacted his family and received a routine medical exam after his rescue at 7:19 p.m. (12:19 p.m. ET), the Navy Central Command said.

"The captain is in good health. He's showered up and in a clean set of clothes," Gortney said in a telephone news conference from Navy Central Command in Bahrain.

U.S. forces moved to rescue Phillips after seeing him in imminent danger on the lifeboat, Gortney said. A fourth pirate was negotiating Phillips' fate aboard the nearby USS Bainbridge.

"While working through the negotiations process tonight, the on-scene commander from the Bainbridge made the decision that the captain's life was in immediate danger, and the three pirates were killed," Gortney said. "The pirate who surrendered earlier today is being treated humanely; his counterparts who continued to fight paid with their lives."

The fourth pirate was aboard the Bainbridge most of the day and told military negotiators that he wasn't going back to the other pirates, according to a defense official with knowledge of the situation.

It's the first time in modern history that the United States has in custody a pirate who carried out an attack on a U.S. citizen, said a senior U.S. official with knowledge of the situation. The source said figuring out what to do with the pirate is a sensitive issue.

Phillips' rescue came a day after he dove into the water in an attempt to escape his captors, Gortney said. The pirates "shot in the water at him" but eventually recaptured him without injuring him, Gortney said.

Maersk Line Limited President and CEO John Reinhart called Phillips "a leader of men ... [and] a brave and courageous man."

He said he has spoken with Phillips and said the captain is "feeling quite good."

Phillips and his family, through Reinhart, expressed gratitude to the U.S. Navy.

"I actually was more concerned for his family," said Adm. Rick Gurnon, head of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, where Phillips had trained. "As a captain in sea, in a lifeboat, he was comfortable -- even if he was sharing it with Somali pirates."

Gurnon stressed that while Phillips was rescued, more than 200 mariners remain captives at sea.

"The pirates have a great business model that works for them: See ships, take ransom, make millions," he told reporters.

At the White House, President Obama issued a statement saying he is "very pleased that Capt. Phillips has been rescued and is safely on board the USS Boxer."

Let me ask you something, So what if one third of the US population had to plug in their vehicles at night, It not only would raise our light bills but it would cause usage issues with the electrical grid, Making the already stressed electrical system work harder and use more energy, So truly what are you saving? People like yourself are only interested in one thing and one thing only Lining your ultra liberal pockets with cash from the American people. You hope for the failure of the Big Three so you can push your un American agenda, I choose to drive a thirty year old Ford, and you know something, it gets 26 mpg and has a v/8 Thats right. So put that in your ultra liberal agenda pipe and smoke it. You will mandate nothing! You are the problem not the solution here. What we need in this country is a $6500.00 tariff on all foreign vehicles to level the playing field. "NOW" that would help. Also how are we disposing of all the used auto batteries once they're spent? Seem to be more hazardous waste to me. Are we now going to fill our landfills with these toxic battery's? This liberal pukes do not realize that there are old car collectors, and others that just want to drive older cars, They also do not realize that some people are contractors and use their vehicle for their business. Some of us have boats, travel trailers, and toy haulers, THAT we cant tow with a Prius.
These stupid ass liberal degenerates don't understand, why we love older vehicles, They think that they are junk. They want to mandate gasoline at $4.00 a gallon to force people to buy smaller more fuel efficient vehicles. They have NO Clue that our energy grid couldn't withstand everyone have vehicles plugged in.
and that the power plants would ramp up production and have to use more coal, completely defeating the purpose of an electric vehicle.
I like so many good American people are sick and tired of these liberal tree hugging do gooders. We are indeed Americans and we have the right to affordable fuels and we have the right to drive what we want, We are still indeed a FREE People.
All of you need to write your Government people and let them know how you feel about this issue, As we speak right now California Liberals are trying to mandate black cars off the road, Whats next Red? Blue? Purple? We all need to contact the United States Government and let them know how we feel about them trying to mandate our lives. I am keeping my old American vehicles weather our Government likes it or not.
We should be mandated by anyone to drive anything.
Unless you feel the need to be under some type of Socialistic rule.

Autonation CEO Mike Jackson: just another exec in favor of higher gas taxes

Executives of large companies by and large tend to skew toward the more conservative side of the political spectrum and generally eschew increased taxes on anything. However, a growing handful (see here) seems to be coming to the same realization of late, a realization that completely escapes most politicians: cheap gas is bad for America, especially if we want the country to move to more efficient, lower emitting vehicles.

The latest to jump on the increased gas tax bandwagon is Mike Jackson, CEO of AutoNation. AutoNation is the largest dealer group in the country with 311 franchises at 239 locations and 25,000 employees. Jackson realizes that simply mandating more efficient vehicles through either fuel economy or emissions rules without stimulating demand for those vehicles will leave his stores with a lot of stock that customers don't necessarily want to buy.

People tend to think of efficiency in relation with current fuel prices. When prices are low, they buy less efficient vehicles. Jackson is promoting an extra $1/gallon tax phased in over five years. The problem is, will any politician put their neck on the line to support higher fuel prices?

Pull together People we need to beat these liberals to a pulp.
