This is a letter that I wrote to Mike Jackson the CEO of AutoNation
This liberal expects all Americans to drive a Toyota Prius.

Dear Mike Jackson I watched you talking to the Governor of Michigan. Man oh man are you ever a liberal leech, Wanting the Government to mandate $4.00 per gallon gas. Just so you can push your ultra liberal Prius agenda. People like you make me sick to my stomach, Toyota is a Japanese vehicle and doesn't support the USA at all, whats wrong with you people? Are you so intent on the ruination of our country, That you are brain dead? You Sir will never mandate to this Army vet that I drive a ugly death trap, You Mr. Liberal shall never mandate my old vehicles off the road! We are Americans and I have the right to drive what I choose, NOT what you choose, Try and remember that. How is a contractor going to haul sheets of drywall in a Prius? Please answer, I would adore to hear your answer. Pull my boat with your liberal Japanese made death trap, I would love to watch, Liberals like you think you can just mandate "WE THE PEOPLE" into submission. Well Sir you can not! Let me ask you something, So what if one third of the US population had to plug in their vehicles at night, It not only would raise our light bills but it would cause usage issues with the electrical grid, Making the already stressed electrical system work harder and use more energy, So truly what are you saving? People like yourself are only interested in one thing and one thing only Lining your ultra liberal pockets with cash from the American people. You hope for the failure of the Big Three so you can push your un American agenda, I choose to drive a thirty year old Ford, and you know something, it gets 26 mpg and has a v/8 Thats right. So put that in your ultra liberal agenda pipe and smoke it. You will mandate nothing! You are the problem not the solution here. You try and push your liberal agenda's and make our country weak and available for an attack. I Sir with for one That people like you wouldn't speak for the people of this country. You will not force me to drive a death trap! I will do my part as a "GOOD and TRUE" American and battle your ultra liberal agenda all the way until my death. What we need in this country is a $6500.00 tariff on all foreign vehicles to level the playing field. "NOW" that would help. Also how are we disposing of all the used auto batteries once they're spent? Seem to be more hazardous waste to me. Are we now going to fill our landfills with these toxic battery's? I guess you do not care about that right. You just care about selling ultra liberal imports in our USA Have a great day.

This liberal pukes do not realize that there are old car collectors, and others that just want to drive older cars, They also do not realize that some people are contractors and use their vehicle for their business. Some of us have boats, travel trailers, and toy haulers, THAT we cant tow with a Prius.
These stupid ass liberal degenerates don't understand, why we love older vehicles, They think that they are junk. They want to mandate gasoline at $4.00 a gallon to force people to buy smaller more fuel efficient vehicles. They have NO Clue that our energy grid couldn't withstand everyone have vehicles plugged in.
and that the power plants would ramp up production and have to use more coal, completely defeating the purpose of an electric vehicle.
I like so many good American people are sick and tired of these liberal tree hugging do gooders. We are indeed Americans and we have the right to affordable fuels and we have the right to drive what we want, We are still indeed a FREE People.
All of you need to write your Government people and let them know how you feel about this issue, As we speak right now California Liberals are trying to mandate black cars off the road, Whats next Red? Blue? Purple? We all need to contact the United States Government and let them know how we feel about them trying to mandate our lives. I am keeping my old American vehicles weather our Government likes it or not.
We should be mandated by anyone to drive anything.
Unless you feel the need to be under some type of Socialistic rule.

Autonation CEO Mike Jackson: just another exec in favor of higher gas taxes

Executives of large companies by and large tend to skew toward the more conservative side of the political spectrum and generally eschew increased taxes on anything. However, a growing handful (see here) seems to be coming to the same realization of late, a realization that completely escapes most politicians: cheap gas is bad for America, especially if we want the country to move to more efficient, lower emitting vehicles.

The latest to jump on the increased gas tax bandwagon is Mike Jackson, CEO of AutoNation. AutoNation is the largest dealer group in the country with 311 franchises at 239 locations and 25,000 employees. Jackson realizes that simply mandating more efficient vehicles through either fuel economy or emissions rules without stimulating demand for those vehicles will leave his stores with a lot of stock that customers don't necessarily want to buy.

People tend to think of efficiency in relation with current fuel prices. When prices are low, they buy less efficient vehicles. Jackson is promoting an extra $1/gallon tax phased in over five years. The problem is, will any politician put their neck on the line to support higher fuel prices?

Pull together People we need to beat these liberals to a pulp.

In 2006, Petty Officer Luttrell was awarded the Navy Cross

Petty Officer First Class Marcus Luttrell was born in Huntsville, Texas in 1975.

A graduate of BUD/S Class 228, he was the only survivor of the fateful events of June 28, 2005 in Afghanistan. Luttrell and three teammates from SEAL Team TEN were assigned to a reconnaissance mission, operation RED WING, in the Hindu-Kush mountain region of Afghanistan. Their objective was to gather intelligence on Taliban movement in the area. Luttrell’s team was eventually discovered and outnumbered by over 200 Taliban fighters. Petty Officer Luttrell was the only to survive enemy contact. In the rescue mission that ensued, 16 Special Forces personnel, including 8 Seals, died when their helicopter was shot down by Taliban fighters. It was the largest single-day loss of life in the SEALs’ history.

In 2006, Petty Officer Luttrell was awarded the Navy Cross for combat heroism.

His full story is documented in his heroic account of the operation, entitled: Lone Survivor.

On Thursday I believe it was, Wednesday or Thursday about 1:00 a.m., Marcus is a guy who doesn't sleep anymore at night. He sleeps during the daytime. And about 1:00 he happened to be awake and he heard a gunshot. He lives on a ranch with his mother in Texas. He grabs his gun and he goes outside. There he sees, I believe it was four. It may be three but I believe it was four young men 18 to 24 years old, all of them, where they had just shot his dog. Marcus' dog is named Dasy. Each letter represents D A S Y represents one of the fallen members of his team. It was given to him in recovery to help him through the recovery process. This dog means everything to Marcus. Marcus had his gun and he took it out and he put it right between the eyes of one of the guys. He was standing away from them, pointed right between the eyes. Now, here's a SEAL team member who is wildly, he's just, he is having trouble, man. He is still recovering from his injuries. He had just gotten out of surgery. He's standing there with a gun between the guy's eyes. He doesn't fire. All four and he's just saying, "You killed my dog." They executed his dog. "You killed my dog. Why would you do that?" They run. They get into his car. Marcus gets into his truck, chases them over four counties, finally runs them into a ditch. He calls the Rangers. The Texas Rangers arrive and these guys, when the Texas Rangers are taking these guys away, Marcus has held them there by a gun. As the Rangers are taking these guys away, they're threatening Marcus' life and saying, "When we get out, we're coming for you next. First it was your dog. It's going to be you next. You don't know who you're messin' with." That's when Marcus kind of snapped just a little bit and said to the Ranger, "Excuse me, ranger, do you know who I am?" He said, "Yes, sir, Mr. Luttrell, I do." He said, "You might want to explain to these punks because I could have killed them 600 different ways and if I wanted to kill you guys after what you would have done what you just did to my dog, I would have pulled you down into my basement and I would have tortured you for days and you wouldn't have died until you begged me for death. So before you start saying you're going to come after me, you better learn who you've just whose dog you just killed."

So whats up with our America?

I grew up on a ranch in the Midwest as most of you know.
We put "OLD GLORY" up every morning and took her down every evening.
We said "Grace" at meal time, and blessed the lord every night at bed time.
It was a kinder gentler nation back then, People were polite and help one another out.
I certainly miss those days, No cell phones, No computers, No GPS, No I Pods.
You attended school and didn't get into trouble, after school you did your chores, ate dinner, did your home work and went to bed, You respected your parents and lived your life. Now things are all different, Children live by a different value system and parents get run over by their children. Young people no longer want to finish school or even get a GED, They no longer want to join the military, Because they have been raised by liberal parents. and it is indeed a real shame.
Barrack Obama got elected because of this, Un educated young people. That require a Nanny State to take care of them. When I was young if I wanted something I indeed had to work for it, My Parents told me nothing was free. If you wanted something you earned it, So you respected it. Now days these younger people have absolutely no respect for anything, Simply because it has been just handed to them.
Its a dammed shame and if you look at today's youths it shows.
Lazy baggy pants wearing thugs, These kids are mushrooms, They know nothing of our history and do not care to know. They will drive Hyundai's from Korea or Scions from Japan and not have a care in the world, About our economy or heritage.
I find this so very sad indeed.

The attendance of most Churches is down by 45% in this country.
People need to wake up and get their faith back.
Having supper with your children is very important, With the TV off during your meal!
When you go on an outing with your children collect the cell phones, I Pods and whatever. Spend time as a complete family. Get them involved in what your doing, Rather than just pushing them out of your hair.
Ask them common sense things about our country and our heritage.
Know what they are doing Do Not just take for granted that you do.
YOU do not truly Know your children! and never believe that YOU do.
I do not care if you are Republicans or Democrats or Independents, But do the right thing when it comes to your children's lives, Be involved.
Take this advise and work on your children slowly and be patient.
and with every ones help we can make for a better America.

These people of the left also want to mandate that there are no more black cars, what's next no more red cars?

These are the same ones that have plans to put the small American farmer out of business, and initiate a carbon cap program that will bankrupt our nation.

We the People are completely sick and tired of these absolutely insane Government Mandates. Our forefathers put a Government in place to assist and “HELP” the “We the People” not to intentionally hurt them. You all had better get out your conservative walking sticks and start walking the Constitutional walk, If you want to make hay in 2010 and 2012. Because us We the People want our country back.

We do not want and we are not asking for Smart Grids or more Big Brother anything.

"The Smart Grid" More Big Brother?

Smart Grid
The electric grid delivers electricity from points of generation to consumers, and the electricity delivery network functions via two primary systems: the transmission system and the distribution system. The transmission system delivers electricity from power plants to distribution substations, while the distribution system delivers electricity from distribution substations to consumers. The grid also encompasses myriads of local area networks that use distributed energy resources to serve local loads and/or to meet specific application requirements for remote power, village or district power, premium power, and critical loads protection.

Obama says yes to Smart Grid
And it seems their wager paid off. Obama’s $787 billion economic stimulus bill includes $4.5 billion in funding for the so-called Smart Grid, an ambitious plan to modernize the country’s electric grid that many Obama contributors are helping to shape.

One of the largest components of Smart Grid is already being implemented by the USDA; it’s called the National Animal Identification System (NAIS) it requires farmers to implant a RFID tag into the body of all of their livestock–cows, pigs, goats, chickens, sheep, all livestock. The NAIS threatens to destroy small-scale family farms. If you’re not familiar with the NAIS, here are a couple of resources: Downsize DC, NAIS: Too little too late? and NAIS: Let’s do some fuzzy math. Coupled with Smart Grid, the NAIS strengthens the ability of Government officials to control rural Americans as completely as they control people in the cities.

Remember, President Obama believes implementing Smart Grid is urgent. He wants the program to expand quickly, with all of us on the thinking grid by 2011. All of us. Resistance is futile.

Smart Grid is about energy efficiency and climate change. This intelligent power grid gathers information about individual energy use via sensors embedded in the transmission lines and in homes and businesses. The government, via WAPA, will know what temperature you keep your home or business at. If you keep your domicile warmer or cooler than the temperature approved by the federal government, you pay more. To some, this is an acceptable arrangement, until they discover what else Smart Grid can do.

The world is becoming instrumented. By 2010, there will be a billion transistors per human, each one costing one ten-millionth of a cent.

The world is becoming interconnected. With a trillion networked things—cars, roadways, pipelines, appliances, pharmaceuticals and even livestock—the amount of information created by those interactions grows exponentially.

All things are becoming intelligent. Algorithms and powerful systems can analyze and turn those mountains of data into actual decisions and actions that make the world work better. Smarter.

Did you catch that? Smart Grid will allow the government to collect information about you, your habits, and possessions. All they need are a few sensors to know what is in your refrigerator; how long you spend in the bathroom; if you smoke in your home; if you drink alcohol in your home; and how many people are in your home or business at any one time. Science fiction? Don’t bet on it. IBM knows different.

And if the above statements aren’t enough to get you thinking, how about this:

Nanotechnology e-textiles for biomonitoring and wearable electronics-
If current research is an indicator, wearable electronics will go far beyond just very small electronic devices or wearable, flexible computers. Not only will these devices be embedded in textile substrates but an electronics device or system could ultimately become the fabric itself. Electronic textiles (e-textiles) will allow the design and production of a new generation of garments with distributed sensors and electronic functions. Such e-textiles will have the revolutionary ability to sense, act, store, emit, and move – think biomedical monitoring functions or new man-machine interfaces – while ideally leveraging an existing low-cost textile manufacturing infrastructure.

Here’s the scenario: you buy a pair of socks, using your credit or debit card (cash is already being discouraged). Because of Smart Grid, your house will be able to read the bar code on those socks as you bring them through the door and add them to a list it keeps of your clothes; size, price, origin, when worn, etc. The computer that controls your home’s thermostat and lights also controls your wardrobe, budget, social habits, and even your eating habits. The refrigerator reads the bar codes on your food. Someone with access to that information knows when you eat, what you eat, what you paid for it, and how long something has been in the fridge.

If you’re like me, and do a lot of canning, you’re probably thinking, “so what?” That’s what my initial thought was. It can’t read a bar code if there isn’t one. Hmmm. What if your home’s computer believed that based on how many people live in the home there’s not enough food being purchased? How long do you think it would take the electronic nanny to notify child protective services or other authorities?

Again, this isn’t science fiction. It’s happening right now in South Bend, Indiana, and Florida and California. Now that President Obama’s spending package has been pushed down our windpipes, effectively choking off any opposition, look for development of an electronic super nanny by Big Brother. This is change we can believe in? It’s change alright rural America, and it’s coming for you. Notice on GE’s page there are no pictures of urban or suburban dwellings, only a rural home? An oversight? Not according to Alan Keyes.

After reading about the billions of dollars the White House has allocated to watching its rural citizens, I’d say he hit the nail on the head. How to survive the revolution

The Revolution is coming are you ready ?

TOKYO -- Toyota's financing unit is in talks with a Japanese government-backed bank on possible lending, the automaker said Tuesday, underlining the serious woes facing the car industry amid plunging global sales.

Toyota Motor Corp. said no details had been decided. Kyodo News and NHK TV reported earlier in the day, without identifying sources, that Toyota's auto loan unit, Toyota Financial Services, had asked for a $2 billion government loan.

The Japan Bank for International Cooperation declined comment on the reports, saying it does not comment on individual company matters.



The Finance Ministry said Tuesday it will provide an additional $5 billion from its foreign reserves this month to the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, to make sure there is ample cash available for needy businesses. Tokyo has about $1 trillion in foreign reserves.

Finance Minister Kaoru Yosano also said the ministry stands ready to raise the money pool available for lending in yen from 800 billion yen now to 1.2 trillion yen to help companies ride out the deepening global slump.

Toyota, which makes the Camry sedan and the Prius hybrid, had been growing solidly before the U.S. financial crisis hit last year. But now it is expecting a 350 billion yen loss for the fiscal year through March, as plunging global demand and a strengthening yen batter earnings.

Toyota's projected red ink for the fiscal year through March would mark its first such annual net loss since 1950, and a sharp contrast from the record 1.72 trillion yen profit it racked up the previous year.

Toyota is still faring better than General Motors and Chrysler, which together have received $17.4 billion in emergency loans from the U.S. government, and asked for an additional $21.6 billion in aid last month.

Nissan Motor Co. has said that it is considering various types of government aid, but it declined to say Tuesday whether it was requesting for Japan Bank for International Cooperation loans. Nissan has forecast a 265 billion yen net loss for the fiscal year through March.
